Audio/Visual Specialist

We are in search of a dynamic and highly motivated Audio/Visual Specialist who will play a
pivotal role in our organization. In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for a wide
array of on-site technical tasks while also serving as a Technical Support Agent, dedicated to
delivering unparalleled technical support and assistance to our valued clients. The ideal
candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for technology, in-venue technical experience,
sports knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow within
our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site event technician
  • Lead technician on AV events, equipment preparation, onsite setup, operation, and
    teardown of equipment.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation for equipment setup.
  • Manage and communicate all notes from pre-event site visits.
  • Work with AV team in determining resource requirements and external allocations as
    needed.
  • On-site inputting of metadata, archiving backdated photos/videos, maintaining
    organization of physical and digital media, and any other archival duties as assigned by
    the supervisor.

Product knowledge:

  • Acquire a general knowledge of node based graphic programing, specifically in regard to
    templates.
  • Dive deep into comprehensive research, covering various domains such as new vendors,
    background data, and venue information.
  • Work with AV Operations Coordinator to accurately document all client projects.
    Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, key players, major events,
    and accolades by keeping abreast of major trade and editorial publications.

Technical Support:

  • First point of contact for our clients, delivering expert technical support via phone, email,
    and chat.
  • Skillfully diagnose and troubleshoot graphics-related issues, offering swift and effective
    solutions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and issue resolutions to ensure
    accountability and continuous improvement.

Customer Service:

  • Elevate the customer experience through exceptional customer service, addressing client
    inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Foster enduring client relationships, ensuring their complete satisfaction and loyalty.
    Training and development:
  • Engage in company-sponsored training programs designed to nurture your expertise in
    audio/visual technology.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the AV team on real-world projects and tasks, honing your
    practical skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-4 years of significant AV experience within a live on-site capacity
  • Aspirations to become a lead AV Tech and graphics integrator.
  • Knowledge of node base coding/programming is a valuable asset.
  • Showcase exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Exhibit a willingness to embrace new challenges and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work
    environment.
